100% of the net profits collected will be turned over to Lost N Found Youth, an LGBTQ-friendly organization that helps get young people off the streets. The organizers of the LGBTQ Composers Concert are not affiliated with any other non-profit organization. Due to our position as a third-party fundraiser, donations made to the event unfortunately cannot be used for tax refunds.
All profit goes to LNFY
Donations are NOT tax-refundable
All expenses will be made available to the public
Yes— we strongly believe in paying artists for their work, just like all the other vendors we pay to make this event a reality. Providing this opportunity for the artists is the first half of our mission, after all. The singers are compensated (though they deserve much more!) However, some of our artists have opted to perform pro bono, as a form of donation. The visual artists are likewise given the power to choose what percentage of their works' sales they are willing to donate. All expenses will be published on this site for total transparency.
Doors open at 7:30. The classical music program begins at 8pm sharp! At 9pm, Chelsea Shag will take the stage. During this time feel free to grab another cocktail, mingle with the artists, and view the premiere LGBTQ art gallery as we wrap up the silent auction.
